Privacy Policy — Truck Dispatch Academy

Truck Dispatch Academy ("the extension") is an educational Chrome extension. This policy explains what data the extension handles.

Data stored on your device

The extension stores the following only in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local). It is never transmitted to us:

• Course progress, quiz scores, streaks and XP
• Your display name (for the certificate)
• Your prospect tracker entries in the Client Hunter toolkit
• Settings: AI model choice, daily token budget, language preference
• Cached AI answers (to avoid repeat API costs)

Groq AI key (optional)

The AI Mentor and role-play features require a Groq API key, which you obtain free from console.groq.com and paste into the extension's Settings. The key is stored only in your browser's local storage. It is sent only to api.groq.com when you actively use an AI feature, and never to any other server. If you do not enter a key, all course content, quizzes, drills and tools continue to work fully offline.

License validation (optional)

If you activate the full course with a license key, the key and an anonymous device identifier are sent once to our licensing server (a Cloudflare Worker) to verify the key and check expiry. No personal information is collected in this process.

What we do NOT do

• We do not collect, sell, or share personal data.
• We do not use analytics, trackers, or advertising SDKs.
• We do not access your browsing history, tabs, or other extensions.

Data deletion

Use Settings → Data → Reset all academy data inside the extension to permanently delete everything stored locally. Uninstalling the extension also removes all local data.
