Load Board Fraud Lens is a read-only browser extension. It displays risk-signal badges on load postings you view on DAT One, Truckstop.com, 123Loadboard, Direct Freight, and Trucker Path, based on free public FMCSA records.
1.What this extension does
Load Board Fraud Lens is a read-only browser extension. It displays risk-signal badges on load postings you view on DAT One, Truckstop.com, 123Loadboard, Direct Freight, and Trucker Path, based on free public FMCSA records. It never logs into load boards, never clicks, posts, messages, books loads, or automates anything on your behalf. It only reads the pages you already have open.
2.No accounts
There is no signup, no login, and no password. On first run your device generates a random anonymous ID (stored only on your device) so that your saved loads stay private to you.

4.Third parties
The extension queries public U.S. government sources directly from your browser: the FMCSA SAFER Company Snapshot (safer.fmcsa.dot.gov), the FMCSA Licensing & Insurance site (li-public.fmcsa.dot.gov), and the FMCSA Company Census open data (data.transportation.gov). The extension also talks to the shared backend (safer-licensing.saferusdot.workers.dev) for anonymous device registration, public broker-record caching, and syncing your private saved loads — never for load-board content. The backend address is baked into the extension and is not shown or changeable in any extension UI.
One disclosure worth making explicit: DAT's own terms permit DAT to sell your lane search history, equipment posting history, and contact data to their customers. Load Board Fraud Lens collects none of that — it reads only the postings on pages you already have open, and repost and rate sightings stay on your device (see the table above).
5.Your choices
You can disable badges per site, or the whole extension, from the side panel settings at any time. Uninstalling the extension removes everything stored on your device. To delete backend-stored data, contact the email above with your anonymous device ID (shown in the side panel footer).
6.Important notice
Badges show risk signals with cited evidence — never verdicts. The extension does not tell you whether to book a load and never labels any broker. Always verify the linked public record before calling.
